Sooo it’s been around 3 months since I last posted and I missed writing so much, but I didn’t have the time or the inspiration to write anything. Until now.
As you might have figured out from the title, this post is about Spring because it’s Spring right now (yeyyy). But really, I’m writing this post because I have so many questions and dilemas about Spring that I would like to share with you.
It’s been almost 2 months since Spring started. Since the 1st of March, we had snow, sun, rain and wind and the temperature varied from -1 degrees Celsius to 20 degrees Celsius. I mean, how can you jump from 20 degrees on Saturday to 4 degrees on Sunday? But after all the bad weather is gone, the Sun comes out and the trees grow leaves and the flowers bloom and you just get that warmth in your chest and that happy energy. This is what I call a Spring-feeling. So, what’s the deal with this?
In Romania, the winter is cold, with snow and clouds and I can literally count on my fingers the times I have seen the Sun during this season. So, after 3 months of clouds and almost 5 months of coldness ( October and November aren’t a piece of cake either), how can you not just jump in joy when the whole day is sunny and you finally don’t freeze when going outside?
Everybody is so excited about Summer coming, but what about Spring? Spring means iced coffees, perfect weather, beautiful flowers and trees, long days followed by fun nights and going out with the bycicles with your friends. No matter what you enjoy doing, Spring lays beore you so many possibilities. You can do anything because it’s neither too cold nor too hot.
So, in all her splendor and glory, Spring is a season full of mistery. It can always surprise you with a snowy day or a heavy storm and you never now what to expect from the weather, but once the Sun comes out and the Spring is finally done with the “unexpected events”, you can’t denay the cheerfulness and energy that this season brings to you. Are we enjoying it as much as we should?
